Having bought a couple of A2 Polyform fenders, I thought that it would be a good idea to use the correct adapter to inflate them, so ordered one of these. It’s okay and does the job, but would be better if made of brass, which would clearly be more sturdy and long lasting. I have another two Polyform fenders on order and hope that the adapter will last long enough to inflate them too, but I’m not convinced.

Doesn’t lock into place so if used with a compressor, the air pressure pushes the adaptor out and the air doesn’t go in. Gave up after about 20 minutes and used an air gun on the compressor instead and it worked much better. Length of adaptor doesn’t seem long enough to penetrate the valve. Would not recommend

This is the latest Polyform adapter, and having received the wrong type from another retailer, I was very pleased to receive the correct quality item this time.

Had a bit of trouble getting it to fit in one of the fenders. Otherwise ok.
